Seawalls — Green Hill Seawall and Bank Stabilization Project
T Ford Company, Inc. (TFCI) was contracted by the Town of Hull, Massachusetts to perform the installation of approximately 500 linear feet of a new stone revetment and 400 linear feet of coastal bank stabilization. An existing concrete seawall was demolished and TFCI installed approximately 10,000 tons of 2 to 5 ton armor stone to construct the ten-foot thick new revetment. As part of the bank stabilization work, a geocellular confinement system (geocells) were installed on a steep slope of 1:5 to 1 to protect the slope vegetation from wave action during extreme storm events.
