Project Description: General contractor for the Massachusetts Contingency Plan remediation and development of a park at a vacant site.
Remedial work included excavation and off-site disposal of more than 5,000 tons of soils, tannery hides, and other historic debris. TFCI then constructed a full-scale park, including porous walking paths, site amenities, a full landscape package, and a new timber boardwalk and stage structure built on helical piles.
With an aggressive schedule to meet, TFCI worked into the late fall and early winter to deliver a substantially completed project to fulfill contract requirements.
