Upper Artichoke - Dam Repairs

Project Description: Phased reconstruction of the Upper Artichoke Dam.
The project required the installation of upstream and downstream Portadam cofferdams. The pond subgrade had to be leveled with tremie-concreted pads that were put in place by divers.
TFCI then installed steel sheeting and bracing for new cast-in-place inlet and outlet structures, a low-level outlet pipe, and an automated slide gate system. The entire downstream face of the concrete dam was scarified and coated with epoxy sealant.
