GH Nichols — Dam Repairs

Project Description: General contractor for emergency repairs of an uncompleted dam project.
To ensure that the work was completed before the start of hurricane season, an aggressive project schedule required that a 200-foot-long, 3,000-cubic-yard dam extension be constructed in three weeks, including submittals, mobilization, and site set-up.
In addition to the dam extension, TFCI shaped, graded, and loamed over five acres, and installed riprap armor protection, grouted riprap, and a 24-inch grouted pipe sleeve inside of the partially collapsed corrugated metal inlet pipe.
TFCI completed the work in 13 calendar days.
